Houston Business Journal: Houston Restaurant Weeks results= Donations break record, new restaurants make top 5

The Houston Restaurant Weeks 2015 event raised more than $1.9 million in donations for the Houston Food Bank, up about $300,000 from last year and a new all-time record, organizers announced Oct. 27. The donations will help the food bank provide more than 5.7 million meals. The event is the largest annual fundraiser for the food bank, and it’s raised more than $7.6 million since 2003.
