Owner Benjamin Berg opened the doors to this dual-concept in late May, but don’t let the “butchers” part fool you. B&B’s white tablecloths, restored vintage building, wine list and expense-account prices make for an upscale steakhouse, Brooklyn style. All the meats are cut in-house; Ken Laszlo runs the butchery, which also sells retail. A terrific menu by chef Tom Elbashary includes classics (e.g. beef Wellington) and fun one-offs (e.g. spicy lamb burger and “carpetbagger on the half-shell”).
