Who is the king of the truffle?- Houston Chronicle


bbbThe second annual Truffle Chef Charity Challenge will task the chefs with preparing their best truffle-charged dishes. The event will be 6-9 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Astorian, 2500 Summer.

Competing chefs will include Efisio Farris of Arcodoro, Arturo Boada of Arturo Boada Cuisine, Ben Berg of B&B Butchers, Luis Roger of BCN, Eddy Sierra of Brennan’s, Charles Clark of Clark Cooper Concepts, Darla Lexington and Brandon Lampert ofCorner Table, Don Schoenburg of the Durham House, David Skinner of Eculent, Philippe Verpiand of Etoile, Enrico Glaudo ofCavour, Manabu Horiuchi of Kata Robata, David Denis of Le Mistral, Maurizio Ferrarese of Quattro, Robert Del Grande and Elliott Kelly of RDG-Bar Annie, Monica Pope of Sparrow, Manuel Pucha of LaTable, Ryan Hildebrand of Triniti, Jason Grigar ofUrban Eats and Richard Kaplan of Weights + Measures.
