B&B Butchers & Restaurant is a Texas-based upscale steakhouse and traditional butcher shop. As a fine dining restaurant, we specialize in high-quality meats and elevated customer service. Open daily for lunch and dinner, we are dedicated to serving only the finest Texas and Japanese Wagyu beef, 100% authentic, A5 certified Kobe beef and in-house dry-aged USDA Prime beef – all hand-cut in our butcher shop.

Diners will enjoy our signature menu, including standouts such as the Carpet Bagger on the Half Shell, Wagyu Carpaccio, Chef Tommy’s Bacon, Châteaubriand for Two and Double Cut Colorado Lamb Chops, as well as an assortment of seasonal sides.

The lunch menu, which is a delightful recess from the dinner menu, includes hamburgers, meat-driven pastas, pizzas, salads, and sandwiches along with noteworthy dishes like a Bone-In Chopped Steak and Wagyu Skirt Steak Frites.

The menu and design aesthetic are similar to the Houston steakhouse location to keep the experience consistent, but we made sure this location was distinctively Fort Worth, TX. The overall urban contemporary interior features dark wood, exposed brick and period lighting combined with classic, white tablecloths, creating an elegant, sophisticated interior.

Our restaurant has a horseshoe-shaped bar, which opens to the beautiful downstairs patio. The cozy booth seating and full bar menu make us one of the best patio bars in Fort Worth. In June 2015, Benjamin Berg opened his first concept, B&B Butchers & Restaurant, to rave reviews from critics, celebrities and Houstonians. Born in New York City, Berg has been in the restaurant business for over 17 years working for upscale steakhouses in key markets including Las Vegas, Mexico City and his hometown.

Darren McDonald

Managing Partner

Darren McDonald, managing partner of B&B Butchers & Restaurant in Fort Worth, has more than 44 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry mostly working for upscale steakhouses in major cities across the country, including a 23-year tenure at Smith & Wollensky. Born in Long Island, he has lived and worked extensively in 11 states and managed 14 restaurants.

John Piccolino

Executive Chef

John Piccolino, executive chef of B&B Butchers & Restaurant in Fort Worth, is no stranger to the restaurant industry with more than 38 years of experience working in a multitude of chef roles. While growing up in Pittsburgh, he discovered his passion for the culinary arts at 16 years old in the kitchen of the Green Oaks Country Club. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, in 1980, Piccolino joined the opening team of the Atlantis Hotel & Casino as a production cook and quickly rose through the ranks to banquet chef.
